Odometer Status
Information on the odometer’s reliability: Actual, Not Actual, Exempt or TMU (unreadable).
Actual — the mileage is deemed genuine. Not Actual / TMU (True Mileage Unknown) — the reading is unreliable or can’t be confirmed. Exempt — the vehicle is exempt from mileage reporting (usually older than the statutory limit).
A “Not Actual” status lowers a car’s value and calls for caution when appraising it.
