Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out the rules for using the Carimporta website and the conditions for providing brokerage services in the import, repair and delivery of vehicles brought from the USA to the European Union.

§1. Definitions

• Service Provider — Carimporta, the entity providing the services described in these Terms.
• Website — the website available at carimporta.pl.
• User — a person using the Website or the Service Provider’s services.
• Service — brokerage in an auction purchase, transport, customs clearance, repair and adaptation of the vehicle to the EU market, and delivery.

§2. General provisions

Using the Website constitutes acceptance of these Terms. The Website is informational in nature and allows you to submit a quote request — it does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code.

§3. Scope of services

As part of the cooperation, the Service Provider may provide the following services:

• searching for and bidding on a vehicle at auctions in the USA (including Copart, IAAI) on behalf of the User,
• organising road transport within the USA and sea freight to a port in Europe,
• handling customs clearance and import duties,
• accident repair and adaptation of the vehicle to EU registration requirements,
• delivery of the vehicle to the specified address.

§4. Conclusion of the agreement

The detailed scope, price and schedule of the service are agreed individually and confirmed in a separate agreement or order. A condition for entering the bidding is acceptance of the terms and payment of the agreed deposit.

§5. Payments

Settlements cover the vehicle purchase price at auction, auction fees, transport costs, duties and taxes, and the Service Provider’s remuneration. A detailed cost estimate is provided before work begins. Approximate costs can be estimated using the calculator available on the Website.

§6. Liability

The Service Provider exercises due diligence in providing its services. Vehicles sourced from auctions may have damage described in the auction documentation — the User accepts the condition of the vehicle based on the information provided. The Service Provider is not liable for discrepancies resulting from errors or omissions in the auction data of the external supplier.

§7. Complaints

Complaints regarding services can be submitted by e-mail to kontakt@carimporta.pl. A complaint should include the User’s details, a description of the concerns, and the expected resolution. A response is provided within 14 days of receiving the complaint.

§8. Final provisions

In matters not covered by these Terms, Polish law applies. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms; the current version is always available on the Website together with the date of the last update.
