Salvage Title
Salvage Title
A total-loss title — the car was written off by an insurer. The most common title at auction.
A Salvage Title is issued when the repair cost exceeds a threshold of the car’s value and the insurer declares a total loss. It doesn’t mean the car is beyond repair — very often the damage is purely cosmetic bodywork.
Most of the cars we import for repair in Poland carry exactly this Salvage title. After repair and inspection they go through registration in Poland.
