The Single Administrative Document — the customs declaration of the goods (the car) on import into the EU.
The SAD (Single Administrative Document) is the customs form confirming the declaration and release of goods for circulation in the EU. For a car it includes, among other things, the customs value and the assessed duty and VAT.
The SAD is essential in the next steps: for excise duty and vehicle registration.
