Run & Drive
A marker that the car started, drove and braked in the yard. It’s not a full guarantee of soundness.
Run & Drive (sometimes “Runs & Drives”) means that during a short test in the yard the vehicle started the engine, moved under its own power and came to a stop. It’s a positive sign, but it applies only to the moment of the test — it doesn’t cover hidden faults.
Cars without this marker (Stationary / Engine Start Program) may need more extensive mechanical repairs.
Example
A “Run & Drive” lot with Front End Damage usually needs bodywork, not an engine rebuild.
