Roll-on / Roll-off
Sea transport in which the car drives on and off the ferry on its own wheels. Cheaper than a container.
RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) is carriage on a specialist ship that vehicles drive onto under their own power. It’s cheaper than a container, but it requires the car to be drivable and offers less protection.
RoRo isn’t suitable for non-running cars or when you want maximum protection for the cargo.
