Auction fees added to the winning bid — they rise with the purchase amount.
Copart and IAAI add a range of fees on top of the winning bid: a buyer fee (which scales in tiers with the price), a gate fee, an internet fee and sometimes an environmental fee. This is a significant part of the final cost.
In our quote we always show these fees up front — so you know the real cost of the car, not just the hammer price.
