Reserve Price
The lowest price the seller will accept for the car. Below it, the sale needs approval.
The reserve price is the seller’s hidden threshold. If the highest offer doesn’t reach it, the sale is “On Approval” — the seller can accept it, reject it or make a counteroffer.
“Pure Sale” lots have no reserve price — they go to the highest offer regardless of the amount.
